Available Materials

We manufacturer of standard and custom nylon, polyester, cotton, rubber, elastomer and polypropylene elastic webbings.

1

Nylon

Strong, stretchable, durable, and resistant to abrasion and chemicals.

2

Polyester

Durable, strong, UV and mildew resistant, less stretchable than nylon.

Nylon Webbing

3

Cotton

Soft, comfortable, breathable, ideal for comfort-centric applications.

4

Rubber

Provides the required stretchability in elastic webbing.

5

Elastomer

Provides the required stretchability in elastic webbing.

6

Polypropylene

Lightweight, cost-effective, water, mildew, and chemical resistant.

Available Elastic Webbing Size

 Please note that the material used in the elastic webbing (like nylon, polyester, cotton, or polypropylene) will have a significant effect on all of these parameters.

length

General Range: as per your request

{For custom applications, we may cut the elastic webbing to any specific length required by the customer. The length of elastic webbing can be almost any value depending on the requirements of the project it’s being used for.}

Width

Range: 3mm—150mm

{The width can range from as narrow as 1/8 inch (3mm) for lightweight applications up to 6 inches (150mm) or more for heavy-duty applications.}

Thickness

General Range: 0.5mm—3mm

{Elastic webbing thickness is typically measured in millimeters, ranging from about 0.5mm for very thin webbing to 3mm or more for thicker, more durable varieties.}

Stretch Ratio

Range: 1:3

{The stretch ratio can vary greatly. Some elastic webbing may only stretch an additional 50% of its original length (1:1.5 stretch ratio), while others can stretch to 2 or 3 times their original length (1:2 or 1:3 stretch ratio). Very stretchy materials like certain types of spandex can have even higher stretch ratios.}

Tensile strength

Range: 4.5kg—450kg

{Tensile strength for elastic webbing can range from less than 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms) for lightweight webbing up to 1000 pounds (450 kilograms) or more for heavy-duty industrial-grade webbing.}

Colors for Choose

Weaving Style

1.Plain Weave

This is the most common and simplest weaving technique. It consists of interlacing warp (lengthwise) and weft (crosswise) threads alternately. This creates a strong and hardwearing webbing that is suitable for a wide range of applications.

2.Twill Weave

This type of weaving creates a pattern of diagonal parallel ribs. Twill weave is generally more flexible and drapes better than a plain weave. It’s also more resistant to wrinkles and shows less dirt or stains.

3.Satin Weave

In a satin weave, the weft yarns are floated over the warp yarns, creating a smooth, lustrous surface. This makes the elastic webbing softer and more flexible, making it a popular choice for applications that require a luxurious feel.

4.Jacquard Weave

This intricate weave allows for complex, detailed designs to be created on the webbing. It’s an ideal choice when a decorative or branded design is desired on the elastic webbing.

5.Knitted Elastic

Unlike woven elastic, knitted elastic is made by knitting the fibers together. This creates a softer, lighter, and more breathable material.

Applications

Suitable for apparel, bag, furniture, packaging, commercial, medical, and military applications.

Surface Treatments

Each of these treatments can be used separately or in combination,

depending on the specific requirements of the product where the elastic webbing is being used.

Dyeing

Dyeing is a common treatment to change the color of the elastic webbing. This process allows the webbing to be matched to a specific color, which can be critical for use in items like clothing or furniture.

Printing

Printing is used to add patterns, logos, or other designs onto the surface of the webbing. This is often used for branding purposes or to enhance the visual appeal of the product.

Coating

Various coatings can be applied to the surface of the webbing to achieve specific characteristics. For instance, a water-resistant coating might be used for outdoor applications, or a flame-retardant coating could be applied for safety purposes.

Silicon treatment

Silicon treatment can be used to make the webbing more slip-resistant. This can be useful in applications like furniture or car seat belts, where the webbing needs to stay in place.

Heat setting

Heat setting is a process that uses heat to set the stretch and recovery characteristics of the elastic. This process can improve the dimensional stability and performance of the webbing.

Anti-microbial treatment

For certain applications, such as medical or athletic equipment, an anti-microbial treatment might be applied to the webbing to help prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi.
